What is S.I.R.? SIR is the suave, masculine twin of the soft & elegant Noire Session. After debuting 2 Noire Sessions to rave reviews, I wanted my next project to be unpredictable and catch people off guard. When pursuing FaceBook one day, I saw a national commercial from a company a Facebook friend works for, highlighting black men in a positive light. And that’s when it hit me, I would create male experience mirroring the posh elegance of the Noire Sessions, showcase black men in a sophisticated, fashion forward way that’s not often portrayed in today’s media and news. So SIR: (S)tyle (I)ntellect (R)espect, was born.

After those first 2 SIR sessions, the concept began to morph into something bigger. It was a raining Tuesday night about 7:30 pm, and as I listened to it pour down outside, some mellows tunes flowing, the vision For SIR III came to me. For this shoot, I introduced some new guys into the session and the real bond was made. This session was so much fun because it felt less like a photo shoot and more like old friends hanging out. SIR III is also when I introduced the t-shirts.

Fast forward to now…. SIR sessions are arguably the most popular and asked about sessions on my menu. Men ask all the time how can they participate in the group session and I’ve received calls from all over the country about SIR. While anyone can book an individual SIR session, the group sessions are reserved for the men who have previously booked an individual SIR session.
